How ChessLadder Works
- Everyone starts at 100 rating.
- Ladder milestones:
100 → 150 → 200 → ... → 1000 → 1100 → ... → 2000+.
- Win to climb, lose to drop. Standard Elo (K=32 under 1200, K=24 above).
- Games are automatically drawn by threefold repetition, the 50-move rule, insufficient material, stalemate, or after 160 plies.
- Click a piece, then click a destination square. Or type a move (
e4, Nf3, e2e4, O-O).
- Use Hint, Takeback, Resign, Offer Draw any time during a game.
